Alois grew up in France before moving to the US as a child. There he studied Mathematics at the University of Virginia, and went on to obtain masters in Applied Mathematics at the University of Washington. Now, as a Phd Student at the Oden institute his research interests are principally in Scientific Machine Learning and the Mathematical foundations Artificial Intelligence.
